How could I not love this house? First of all it is situated in the town of Uzège in Saint-Quentin-la-Pottery. This just happens to be in the South of France and I love the south and I hope to spend most of my later years in any small village there. Secondly, this town is known for its many potters (thus the name) and I, if you are not aware, am a potter! ( I need to visit this village on my next trip!)

Of course there are other reasons to love this house mostly to do with the fantastic decor. The renovation of the home began with the new owners, a young couple with one small child at the time, hiring local workers to do the finishing. Unhappy with the quality of work they decided to dive in and do it themselves, becoming experts in plastering, decor and design. I think they did a great job and really like the use of stone throughout the home. I also find the lettering above the counter in the kitchen very sweet and gives it character and coziness.
