Pins of the Week: Romantic Florals

My garden is full of richly coloured and delicate white flowers right now...sigh...I truly love this time of year. My backyard feels like an old English garden.... romantic and inspiring. This weeks Pins are all about these wonderful florals. So many wonderful bouquets that I want to make for my table and with a bit of imagination and the wonderful inspiration from these photos I can hardly wait to get started!

Happy Fourth of July to my readers in the US and happy weekend to all!

Garden Entry

Oh I am feeling spring in the air finally...yes I can actually see the edge of the grass in my front yard... and it has got me thinking about my garden. I can hardly wait to get out and fix up my yard and I have been looking for inspiration on Pinterest. I just love these front door and garden entries...such a old world, romantic feeling to these doorways! I always like to see a punch of colour on a doorways as well...I have a red door...and of course a black door always looks good with every style of home.

Fun with White and Green

I was cruising through my last issue of Vogue Living and I came across the first photo below. Now I like a touch of blue in my home or a dash of red but have never loved green. Even when they announced this year that Emerald green was the Pantone colour of the year I was kinda mehhh....but when I saw this photo I said now that is nice! It got me to look around at photos of green in home decor and you know what..I am kinda loving this green! I mean green is nature and it is perfect in so many ways when brought into the home, food, and of course a little cocktail.. I am definitely changing my tune so long as white is present it is all good..
